Farmville Cash and Farmville Coins
In Farmville there are two different kinds of currency: Farm Coins and Farm Cash. Farm Cash is a rare type of money. You can collect exclusive Farmville items if they own this type of currency. For instance, during the Alien Invasion, the Flying Saucer was only purchasable with Farm Cash. Buildings such as the Tea House, Groovy Barn and Pagoda all require that you save up your Farm Cash or buy more on your account.
You can add more Coins and Cash to your Farmville account, but you have to pay with real money through your credit card or Paypal. Currently, Visa, Mastercard and American Express are all accepted. I recommend that you use your real money on Farm Cash rather than on Farm Coins. Farm Coins are rather easy to acquire than Farm Cash.
Coins
Farm coins are the basic currency that you will deal with most of the time. When you plow, plant or purchase certain objects, coins are what you’ll use. Your harvests are all in coins; when you get milk from a cow, you receive coins directly into your account balance which can be seen at the top left of your screen. The same goes for plants; whenever you harvest an cherry tree, you don’t receive cherries, you get rewarded with coins. Monitor your account balance closely. This will aid you in determning the kinds of crops to grow. Occasionally you have to choose between planting a whole farm of a low-cost crop or planting just a couple of squares of an expensive crop. To find out which is providing you the most bang for your buck, keep a calculator on hand.
Farm Cash
$1 is added to your account everyday. I strongly recommend that you save your [Farm cash] and use your coins as an alternative. Seriously, don’t spend your Farm Cash without thinking thoroughly. Items such as rare farmville animals during events, fuel for your vehicles, special buildings can only be obtained using Farm Cash. Spend your Farm Cash when you are really certain that you need an item!!! Only spend it for unique objects during events that will help keep more rare items. Good purchases include unique animals such as the Baby Turkey during the Thanksgiving (although there is a Wild Turkey also available during this event as a Lost Animal), decorations only available during a certain event, as well as anything that you believe your farm can’t do without. Remember, it’s your own farm so it should show your own character.
If you will buy vehicles such as a tractor or seeder, be ready to handle the cost of fuel. A vehicle needs to be gassed up in order to run, otherwise it will be just an ornament which takes up space. You need to think about using your real cash to buy Farm Cash if you’re planning on having a huge farm with quite a few vehicles.
There are 3 main classifications of crops in Farmville: Animals, Trees, and Regular Crops which you must plant. For more information concerning Trees subject go to Farmville Trees.
