Coin Cellophane
What is the best way to store coins (see add. details)?
I currently have them wrapped in cellophane. Is this good or bad? Also, what is the best way to store copper coins?
I have collected for many years and use safe flips for most of my coins. You can use one side of the flip for the coin and on the other side (with the piece of paper that comes with it) you have plenty of room for the information you want to keep about the coin. Such as coin series, date, mint mark, grade of the coin, who you bought it from, how much it cost you and when you bought it.
Just make sure any material you use is inert and will not interact with the metal in the coins. Almost any coin dealer will have safe flips as well as other methods for storing coins.
By the way most of my collection is copper coins also.
