When did japan and china stop making coins with square holes?
I recently came across an old coin that has what appears to be Japanese or Chinese inscriptions on it. It has a square hole in the middle. I would like to know the history behind it. It is made of copper. I tried to do a little research on it to find a coin with the same markings but only found on that came close not identical.
