is the nickel and copper in the jefferson 5 cent piece really worth 9 cents?
are we being tricked?
probably, bit like the qty of copper in a 2p before the 80′s, but the energy required to separate metals would make it impracticable in small qty’s.
plus the value of copper has dropped by a 1/4 over the last 2 months
