Philippine 1000 Peso bank note?
Ever wonder or do you know why the 1000 Peso bank note is the largest single denomination paper currency in Philippines. Seems that it would be beneficial to issue a 5000 Peso and 10,000 Peso bank note.
Do away with the small centavo coins that are so useless that not even beggers want them.
So how much is the 5 sentimo worth? Minted in 2009.
I get a lot of these if I do not have the correct change or a bill larger than they can give change for.
Try giving one to a beggar.
I have often wondered that. I have also often wondered why stores generally have a hard time giving me change for the thousand peso notes I spend. Even when I have 500 peso notes I keep getting asked if I have anything smaller. Hardly believable. 500 pesos is only around $10. The Philippines might not be rich but they are far from poor.
