need information about korean war issue money?
i found paper money my father brought back from korea in 1954.the money is japanese and the denominations range from one centavo,50 centavo,and 1000pesos.i also have several paper bills from the civil war.any way of finding out if they are authentic.curious in arizona
Compare them to the pictures of the bills from the Japanese-occupied Philippines. They are probably the same.
As for your Civil War bills, the first federally issued bills were issued during the war. The American Numismatic Museum has pictures of some of them.
