Cent Copper
i have a cent 1976 white (no copper) rare US coin. unknown?
who know what is the origin? is a error? or what. some experts guy check the coin and they as surprise with the coin. is very rare is in good condition from Philadelphia and is a yellow tone a little bib. when i show sooner a magnetic stone the coin show a very slow move like metal but i think is aluminum. not is a copy! is genuine according some collectors in the matter say. they find on books and no info in the red book or similar. they want more too about this coin

The coin weight is 3.1g the reason that is so is because it has a alloy with steel in order to reach that precise weight of a coin of one cent, (It has a magnetic reaction)
If your coin truly is aluminum, it would weigh only 0.93g while a standard copper 1976 cent weighs 3.11g. Based on the photos I would guess your coin was polished with a cleaner or steel plated and has no added value.
