Would you be happy to celebrate Australia day if it was the beginning of the end of your way of life?
At first I thought it was unreasonable for the Aboriginal community to not celebrate Australia day on the day of first white settlement. But now I know I would hate it if a more powerful country decided to take up residency and enforce their way of life in Australia today.
There’s plenty of land left in Australia for the current Aborigines to go and live just as they did prior to the landing of the First Fleet.
Did you ever stop to think that, without the landing of the First Fleet, the Aborigines would still be living in the stone age, as they had done for 10′s of thousands of years before that?
