How do I get to the Falkland Islands from Buenos Aires?
A few buddies and I are traveling to Buenos Aires from the States for a few days, and we are planning things wed like to do down there. One thing I would really like to do is visit the Falkland Islands while we are all the way down there. Does anyone know of any way or the cheapest way to travel between Buenos Aires and the islands? I have done a little research and actually am having trouble finding an air service that flies that route, as well as finding anyone who does it by sea.
The Falklands should not be too far from Buenos Aires. I would think that you could easily get there from that city either by boat or hovercraft. Try Googling “Buenos Aires Travel” or “Argentina Travel,” and see if you can get any deals with either of those two travel mediums, and see if you can get the most inexpensive fare. I would think that if you take a ship and stay overnight, it would be the best thing for you. Have a fun trip.
