Bridal Shower
Is it tacky to have a bridal shower, when you have no registry & ask for honeymoon contributions instead?
I am attending a bridal shower where the couple has no registry and has asked that guests contribute to their honeymoon. They are not registered at any honeymoon collection website either. I’m feeling like this is super tacky and what the hell is the point of having a bridal shower where people give you cards with cash/checks when there is going to be a card box at the wedding. Any opinions?
