The origin of Spanish is the northern part of Spain. Later it expanded to the Kingdom of Castile. Spanish is also known as Castilian. The spreading out of the Spanish Empire led the language to spread to Africa, Americas and the Asia Pacific. This expansion took place from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century. The popularity of Spanish language has been increasing for a number of reasons. This is due to increased tourism, trade and other economic activities that are linked to Spanish speaking countries. This increase is particularly noticeable in the United States, Brazil, France, Italy, and Portugal.
There is an increased interest in learning Spanish. They want to learn the more functional language that can make sure that they are effectively able to communicate with Spanish speaking people with whom they have to deal with in ordinary day to day life.
