Better Grade

Is retaking courses for a better grade considered bad for medical schools and smp programs?
I want to retake two science classes this coming fall to help my GPA. I wanted to know if schools look down upon this, or does it show that I am willing the take the time again to get the better grade?
Retaking courses is not held against medical school applicants. It’s very common and many schools actually have the recommendation on their web sites.
