Why should I choose Pope Benedict XVI as my pope?
I am doing a speech for RE at school. And I have been elected pope and I need to take another popes name, I have chosen Pope Benedict XVI, but I need a reason why I chose him, which I don’t.
Anyone know reasons why I chose him?
Saint Benedict was a wonderful man, he was a beacon of light, culture and knowledge in the dark ages. He founded numerous monasteries and sheltered learned people from the horrors of the time, they preserved untold amounts of knowledge that we have today because of them.
