how much is this stamp worth? and man in the stamp and write “belgie” on the LHS, “belgique” on the RHS, worth 3F

It depends on the year of the stamp, which may or may not be printed on the stamp itself. The picture of the man, could be the reigning king at the time, or prince, or one of Belgium’s historical figures. Again, it depends on the year of the stamp and who’s pictured. The stamp is from Belgium, unless it’s heavily printed in bold black ink with “Third Riche” or something of that nature. The worth of 3F is of course, 3 francs. Most of the general issue, which I’m assuming you may have were issued approximately between the years of 1934 to 1948. The worth of the stamp itself….depends (of course) on the state of the stamp, how well it has been preserved, if it’s mint or used, hinged or never hinged (that’s a gummed little piece of paper that is moistened and it adheres to the back of the stamp and then into some sort of album or binder for safe keeping), if there are tears, if the perforation (that’s the grilled area around the outside of the stamp, where you tear a stamp from a sheet, or out of a book of stamps) or if the perforation is in good, fine, very fine condition.
A good place to value your stamp would be to go to the Scott’s Stamps Books. This can be found on line, however I believe that there may be a charge to use the program, or (GASP) to your local library where a copy of all 10 to 12 books can be found in the reference section.
and by the way if you don’t already know, stamp collecting is one of the oldest hobbies around. It’s one of the easiest to get started in and one that will bring you hours of world travel without ever leaving your room. You are a Philatelist if you collect stamps. Good luck!
