Beijing Expo
I am going to Shanghai from JFK and this is my first time ! HELP !?
I am a Girl traveling Mid May and for about 20 Days … Please tell me what would be the best way or which agency should I use that can help me with this … I am departing from JFK to PVG and from there I would like to visit Jiangxi University than Hebei University than China Medical University , Peking University , Dalian University , Wuhan University , Soochow University and last but not least Tsinghu University !!! I would like to than stay at Shanghai and do some sight seeing for two days such as the Expo and go back to USA … Please Help If you can !!! Thanks
I’m not going to pretend to be much of an expert of Beijing (I’ve only been there for about 4 days), but you should definitely check out the Great Wall while you are there.
Shanghai is where I am more of an expert. Read up about the Expo before you go to find out how to get tickets, what metro to take, where the locations are, etc. At night, you can either stay at the Expo, or venture out. If you venture out, you can play it safe by checking out Xintiandi (popular location for the rich western people — restaurants and bars) or, even better, check out the Bund for riverside views, food, and drinks. For your second day, I would recommend a stroll down Nanjing Rd (get out at People’s Square metro exit) and a visit to the Yu Yuan Gardens. If you have time, also check out some fake markets for some gifts to bring back to your family (just don’t go overboard due to customs).
