Baby Uncirculated
Coin Values?
I really am quite confused about these coins etc.
1927 gold double egal
colonial 1/6 of a dollar, Maryland, payable to londen etc…..( really old!)
No date: never circulated: gold 50 dollar coin. Front looks like the double gold egal coin but shows egal feeding babies
uncirculated 10 cent ( on paper) 1874 w/ pic of William M Meredith
unncirculated grant wood coin 1980. cant tell what metal it is….mabye gold. odd shade
The 1927 double eagle is worth from around $ 650 to around $860 from extra fine grade to mint state-64. This is what a dealer would pay but with gold going up the value will depend on what gold is selling for and the grade of the coin. It is not a rare date. The 1927 D & S mint marked ones are the rare ones. The colonial note has to be looked at for authentisity, there are many fakes around. You need to get a photo or scan of it and you can try denlys@aol.com. He is a well respected dealer in paper notes. Don’t bother him if you can not send photos or a scan with the email. You then will have to find a local paper money dealer. The 50 dollar coin has to have a date to be a U.S. mint item. In the early years 1986-1991the date was in Roman numerals. It must also say 1oz fine gold-50 dollars on the eagles side at the bottom. Value would depend on date. If no date it is a fake. I don’t do stamps so can’t help you, sorry. The Grant Wood item is a medal and it is gold. Getting a value would be hard on this item and you may have to check ebay and see if any are for sale. You need to find the right buyer to get the most from it. Coin dealers will not come close to it’s true value. it is collected by a specialized group.
