Sanding a Cricket Bat?
Hi, I am a Bowling All-Rounder from Australia, and I have a few questions. Q1: I have a SH Kookaburra Kahuna (cost $200) which has a small chip in the face of the bat (approx 2 inches above the sweet spot). The chip isn’t any bigger than about 4mm deep and 6mm diameter, can this be sanded out?, and do I need to knock it in, or oil it again, afterwards?. The bat is fairly new (6 months) and it has only been used a few times in Indoor Cricket (about 15 games). Q2: Also, is there a way of repairing a small rip on the rubber handle, without buying a new one? (about 1 inch long). If you need anymore information about it, please don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks.
